About this fabric

The dense pattern combines curling paisley forms, circular medallions and intricate linework, with pale grey detailing lifting the deeper indigo ground. This 90% cotton and 10% linen fabric is 140 cm wide and has a 61 cm vertical pattern repeat with a 35 cm horizontal repeat. It is specified for curtains, loose upholstery, fixed upholstery and bedspreads, with a 40,000 Martindale rub test. The cool, slightly softened colour keeps the elaborate drawing composed rather than vivid, while the fine tonal detail rewards closer viewing.

How to use it

Use Marida Indigo to bring cool, patterned depth to a reading chair, upholstered headboard or full-length curtains. Pair its blue-grey tone with chalky neutrals, weathered timber and darker navy accents to draw out the design’s quiet, collected character.
