About this fabric

Made from 100% cotton and measuring 132 cm (51.86") wide, this fabric shows a medium-scale check with an 18 cm (7.07") vertical repeat and a 16.5 cm (6.48") horizontal repeat. Its cream base keeps the colourway light, while the subdued blue lines bring a cool, gently weathered contrast rather than a bright or saturated accent. The pattern is composed of fine single lines and denser grouped stripes, producing a clear plaid structure across the cloth. It is specified for curtains, loose upholstery, fixed upholstery and bedspreads, and must be professionally dry cleaned.

How to use it

Use the cream ground to keep a room feeling open, then echo the muted blue in painted joinery, cushions or a relaxed upholstered chair. The layered check works particularly well where a tailored pattern is wanted without a strong, high-contrast effect.
