About this fabric

Melbury Taupe is a quiet, plain woven cloth with a fine, closely textured surface and softly mottled taupe colouring. The warm grey-brown shade has gentle tonal variation across the weave, giving the plain ground depth rather than a flat finish. Made from 70% Polyester and 30% Viscose, it is supplied at 140 cm (55") wide for Fixed Upholstery. Care instructions list Machine Wash: Cool as the minimum wash and require professional dry cleaning; do not tumble dry or bleach, and use a cool iron.

How to use it

Use this warm taupe on a tailored armchair, sofa or dining seat where its restrained flecked texture can soften deeper brown, cream or charcoal furnishings. Its mushroom undertone also works well with natural timber and muted earthy accents.
