Ashbury Oasis

Jeffrey Alan Marks Waterside Fabric33550.1516

Ashbury Oasis pairs washed pale aqua with flax and creamy ivory in softly irregular vertical bands. The close-up reveals a lightly nubby woven surface, giving the colourway gentle tonal depth rather than a flat stripe.

About this fabric

The design is formed from vertical columns of broken, wave-like marks, with pale aqua sections alternating against warm flax, ivory and translucent cream. Its muted blue-green tone reads cool and airy, while the beige threads add enough warmth to keep the palette balanced. Woven in 70% viscose and 30% linen, the 137.45 cm (54") width makes it suitable for both upholstered pieces and window treatments. The horizontal pattern repeat is 47.09 cm (18.5"), allowing the irregular banding to recur across a larger application.

How to use it

Use Ashbury Oasis to bring a pale coastal note to a relaxed room, pairing its misty aqua bands with chalky walls, natural linen and light timber. On a chair or upholstered headboard, the flax and cream details can soften the cooler blue without losing its fresh, watery character.

The pale aqua, cream and flax palette brings a light, quietly layered feel to upholstery, cushions, blinds or curtains.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
