About this fabric
The pale azure-blue ground is crossed by fine light threads in both directions, creating a softly irregular small-scale grid rather than a bold printed motif. The fabric is composed of 52% viscose, 24% cotton, 18% linen and 6% polyester, and measures 137 cm (53.82") wide. Its vertical pattern repeat is 1.5 cm (.59") and its horizontal repeat is 3.5 cm (1.38"), keeping the pattern discreet at room scale. Rated to 40,000 Martindale rubs, it is suitable for curtains, loose upholstery, fixed upholstery and bedspreads. Care instructions specify professional dry cleaning only; do not wash, bleach or iron.
How to use it
Use the cool azure tone to bring a light, airy note to a tailored sofa or occasional chair, or carry it through curtains and a bedspread for a softly coordinated scheme. Pair it with warm ivory, pale timber and muted taupe to draw out the weave’s fine beige threads.
A cool azure-blue crosshatch weave for tailored upholstery, curtains and coordinated bedspreads.

Pairs well with
Vortex Azure is a quiet cloth, so it carries a pattern beside it: one of these on the curtains and this on the chair. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it
Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
