Braddock Indigo
Essential Colours II FabricBF10606.680
Braddock Indigo is a finely woven textile with closely spaced vertical herringbone columns, giving the swatch a precise, tailored rhythm. Its deep blue-grey tone is softened by lighter threads woven through the surface.

About this fabric
The colour reads as a cool, smoky indigo rather than a bright navy, with pale blue-grey flecks defining each narrow chevron column. The fine weave creates subtle tonal movement as the light catches the alternating angled threads, while the 9 cm horizontal pattern repeat keeps the design discreet. Made from 69% viscose, 13% cotton, 8% polyester and 10% linen, the 137 cm fabric is suitable for curtains, loose upholstery, fixed upholstery and bedspreads. It has a 25,000 Martindale rub test; care requires professional dry cleaning, with no washing, bleaching or ironing.
How to use it
Use the cool indigo-blue ground on a tailored armchair, upholstered headboard or full-length curtain, pairing it with chalky neutrals and soft grey wood tones to emphasise its quiet herringbone texture.
A cool, finely textured indigo herringbone for tailored upholstery, curtains and bedspreads.

A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside Braddock Indigo without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it
Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
