Essential Colours II FabricBF10606.230

The Oatmeal colourway reads as a warm, pale beige with a softly flecked woven surface. Fine diagonal threads create quiet movement across the swatch, catching the light without forming a bold pattern.

About this fabric

Braddock Oatmeal has a softly mottled, warm oat-beige ground, with a fine diagonal weave that gives the close-up a gentle herringbone-like movement rather than a printed motif. Its restrained surface keeps the colour light and breathable-looking while the woven fibres add tactile depth. Made from 69% viscose, 13% cotton, 10% linen and 8% polyester, it is 137 cm (53.82") wide. The 25,000 Martindale rating supports its stated use for curtains, loose upholstery, fixed upholstery and bedspreads; professional dry cleaning is required, with no washing, bleaching or ironing.

How to use it

Use this warm oatmeal shade to soften painted rooms, natural timber and darker upholstery, or carry its understated texture through curtains, loose covers and a coordinated bedspread. Its pale beige tone is especially effective where you want gentle warmth without a strong colour statement.

A warm, finely textured neutral suited to relaxed upholstery, curtains and bedspreads.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
