Lord's Linen Parchment

Historic Royal Palaces FabricBF10672.225

Lord's Linen Parchment has a warm, softly shaded beige appearance with a discreet woven grain visible across the swatch. Its quiet, parchment-like tone gives the plain surface gentle depth rather than a stark flat finish.

About this fabric

The swatch shows a fine, even weave in a warm parchment beige, with subtle tonal variation and a lightly tactile surface. Composed of 30% linen, 30% polyacrylic, 20% viscose, 10% polyester, 5% nylon and 5% cotton, it is 139 cm wide. A 30,000 Martindale rub test supports its use for loose and fixed upholstery, as well as curtains and bedspreads. The fabric must not be washed, bleached or ironed, and should be professionally dry cleaned.

How to use it

Use this warm parchment colour to soften a classic sofa, upholstered headboard or full-length curtain without introducing a strong pattern. It works especially well where a light neutral with more visual warmth than white is needed.

A softly textured parchment neutral for tailored upholstery, curtains and bedspreads.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
