Lord's Linen Silver

Historic Royal Palaces FabricBF10672.925

Lord's Linen Silver presents a pale silver-taupe ground with a fine, closely set weave and restrained natural slubbing. Its cool, muted surface catches the light softly rather than appearing flat or stark.

About this fabric

The close-up shows an even plain weave in a gentle silver-taupe tone, with tiny variations that give the cloth a quietly tactile finish. It is made from 30% linen, 30% polyacrylic, 20% viscose, 10% polyester, 5% nylon and 5% cotton. At 139 cm (54.61") wide, it is specified for curtains, loose upholstery, fixed upholstery and bedspreads. The 30,000 Martindale rub test makes this understated colourway a practical choice where a softly textured, low-contrast finish is required.

How to use it

Use the cool silver-taupe shade to bring calm definition to a pale sitting room, either on tailored upholstery or full-length curtains. It also works neatly across a bedspread and upholstered headboard where its fine weave can provide subtle tonal contrast.

A finely woven silver-taupe textile suited to tailored upholstery, relaxed curtains and coordinated bedspreads.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
