Historic Royal Palaces FabricBF10673.225

Court Linen Parchment has a quiet, warm beige tone with the softly irregular surface associated with linen. Its fine, understated crosshatch catches the light gently without forming a visible pattern.

About this fabric

Made from 52% Linen, 38% Viscose and 10% Nylon, this 137 cm wide fabric has a balanced mid-weight appearance suited to both fluid and tailored applications. The parchment shade sits between creamy beige and light taupe, with subtle tonal variation across the woven surface rather than a flat, stark finish. It is supplied for Curtains, Loose Upholstery, Fixed Upholstery and Bedspreads, and has a 30,000 Martindale rub test. Care instructions are Do Not Wash, Do Not Bleach and Do Not Iron.

How to use it

Use this warm parchment beige to soften a light sitting room, covering a neat armchair or full-length curtains where its fine texture can be seen in changing daylight. Pair it with chalky whites, natural timber and muted stone shades for a calm, quietly traditional scheme.

A softly textured neutral that brings gentle warmth to upholstery, curtains and bedspreads.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
