Lord's Linen Ivory

Historic Royal Palaces FabricBF10672.104

Lord's Linen Ivory is shown here as a softly warm, near-plain ivory textile with a fine woven grain. Its close, even surface has a discreet crosshatched texture that adds depth without introducing a visible motif.

About this fabric

The warm ivory ground reads gently creamy rather than stark white, while the tiny intersecting threads create a subtle linen-like texture across the swatch. At 139 cm (54.61") wide, it is specified for curtains, loose upholstery, fixed upholstery and bedspreads. A 30,000 Martindale rub test gives it practical suitability for everyday upholstered pieces while preserving the light, understated appearance visible here. Its composition is 10% polyester, 30% linen, 30% polyacrylic, 20% viscose, 5% nylon and 5% cotton. Care instructions specify professional dry cleaning only; do not wash, bleach or iron.

How to use it

Use this warm ivory colourway to soften a tailored armchair, headboard or loose cover, or let its fine texture bring gentle depth to full-length curtains. It pairs naturally with pale timber, chalky neutrals and warmer stone shades rather than cool optic whites.

A warm ivory, finely woven textile suited to calm upholstery, curtains and bedspreads.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
