Auvergne Oatmeal

Provence Fabric

Auvergne Oatmeal pairs a warm oatmeal ground with an ivory scrolling floral and bird motif, giving the design a softly traditional look. The overall effect is light and breathable, with the pattern standing out gently rather than sharply.

About this fabric

This fabric is made from 100% recycled polyester and has a width of 145cm, making it a practical decorative textile for larger upholstery or drapery projects. The image shows a warm beige-oatmeal background with a linen-like speckled texture, overlaid by an ivory damask-style pattern with birds, curling leaves and stylised flowers. The contrast is soft and chalky rather than stark, so the motif reads elegant and settled instead of high-contrast or crisp. With a 35cm vertical repeat and 35.5cm horizontal repeat, the design has a substantial scale that suits more traditional interiors.

How to use it

Use Auvergne Oatmeal on a statement armchair, bench cushion or full-length curtains where the warm neutral ground can soften darker wood or painted joinery. It works especially well in rooms that need pattern but still want a quiet, sunlit palette.

A softly aged neutral that brings pattern without overpowering a room.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
