Provence Ochre

Provence Fabric

Provence Ochre pairs a warm ochre ground with an ivory damask that reads crisp and softly aged against the woven background. The large floral leaves and scrolling stems give the design a classic, dressed feel without looking heavy.

About this fabric

Woven in 100% recycled polyester, this fabric has a practical mid-weight feel that makes it suitable for both upholstery and drapery. The 145cm width gives useful coverage, while the 35cm vertical by 35.5cm horizontal repeat keeps the pattern prominent and well-spaced across larger pieces. In this colourway, the ochre ground is gentle rather than brash, with a sunlit, honeyed cast that lets the ivory motif stand out cleanly. The textured weave adds a subtle speckled effect behind the floral damask, softening the contrast and giving the cloth a relaxed, country-house warmth.

How to use it

Use Provence Ochre on a pair of armchairs, a pelmet, or relaxed curtains where the warm ground can bring depth without darkening the room. It works especially well with chalk whites, natural oak, and faded greens for a layered, inviting scheme.

A warm ochre ground and ivory damask bring an easy, elegant glow to classic interiors.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
