Blizzard Dresden
Essential Colours II FabricBF10684.664
Blizzard Dresden is a cool, slate blue-grey textile with a quiet depth created by its closely woven surface. In the swatch, fine vertical and crosswoven threads create a softly irregular texture rather than a printed motif.

About this fabric
The restrained blue-grey tone has a charcoal cast, giving the fabric a calm, tailored appearance that shifts subtly as the light catches the woven threads. It is made from 45% viscose, 35% cotton, 16% linen and 4% polyester, with a 137 cm width (53.82"). A 40,000 Martindale rub test makes it suitable for fixed and loose upholstery as well as curtains and bedspreads. Care is professional dry cleaning only; do not wash, bleach or iron.
How to use it
Use Blizzard Dresden to upholster a contemporary armchair or sofa where its cool slate tone can sit alongside pale stone, charcoal and soft blue accents. It also has enough visual restraint for full-length curtains or a coordinated bedspread without introducing a strong pattern.
A versatile blue-grey woven ground for tailored upholstery, curtains and coordinated bedspreads.

Pairs well with
Blizzard Dresden is a quiet cloth, so it carries a pattern beside it: one of these on the curtains and this on the chair. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it
Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
