Cords Sunshine

Jeffrey Alan Marks Waterside FabricPF50387.3

Cords Sunshine pairs a pale ivory ground with narrow sunshine-yellow vertical cords, creating a warm, quietly rhythmic stripe. The fine woven surface has a natural, lightly slubbed appearance that softens the brightness of the yellow.

About this fabric

The stripe is formed from slender, gently irregular yellow lines set against an airy ivory background, with subtle tonal variation where the weave catches the light. Its close, fine texture reads as linen-like rather than plush, making the colourway feel fresh and sunlit instead of heavily saturated. The composition is 75% viscose and 25% linen, with a 132.36cm (52") width. The pattern repeats every 24.18cm (9.5") vertically and 22.91cm (9") horizontally; it is specified for curtains and bedspreads and must be professionally dry cleaned.

How to use it

Use the warm yellow-and-ivory stripe for relaxed full-length curtains in a light-filled room, or carry it onto a bedspread where the vertical rhythm can bring gentle structure without overwhelming the scheme. Pair it with chalky whites, pale timber and natural linen tones to preserve its bright, easy warmth.

A fine, lightly textured striped cloth suited to bright curtains and coordinated bedspreads.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
