About this fabric

This 68% polyester, 32% cotton fabric has a warm yellow base overlaid with regularly spaced stylised floral and foliate motifs in muted ochre gold. The 19.41 cm vertical repeat and 8.91 cm horizontal repeat create a compact, orderly damask layout across the 137.45 cm width. With a 50,000 Martindale rub test and stated usage for curtains, fixed upholstery and bedspreads, it is suitable for both decorative furnishing and hard-wearing seating applications. It must not be washed, bleached or ironed, and requires professional dry cleaning.

How to use it

Use Portland Yellow to brighten a classic sitting room with upholstered chairs or a patterned ottoman, then repeat its ochre-gold motif in cushions or a bedspread. As curtains, its pale ground will read softly in daylight while the denser motifs add a warm, traditional accent.

The warm yellow ground and ochre botanical motifs bring a traditional decorative note to curtains, upholstery and bedspreads.
