Portland Aqua pairs an almost icy aqua ground with densely drawn blue-aqua floral damask medallions. The softened colour contrast keeps the ornate pattern feeling airy, while the fine woven grain adds quiet depth.

About this fabric

The pale aqua ground is overlaid with repeated deeper blue-aqua damask motifs, each formed from symmetrical floral and foliate details. A fine vertical woven grain is visible through the ground, giving the surface a softly tactile finish rather than a flat appearance. Made from 68% polyester and 32% cotton, the fabric is 137.45 cm (54") wide and has a 19.41 cm (7.63") vertical repeat with an 8.91 cm (3.5") horizontal repeat. It is suitable for curtains, fixed upholstery and bedspreads, with a 50,000 Martindale rub test. Care is professional dry cleaning only: do not wash, bleach or iron.

How to use it

Use this cool aqua colourway to lighten a reading chair, headboard or full-length curtains in a room with ivory, pale timber and brushed metal. Its blue-green damask gives quieter neutral schemes a decorative lift without introducing a warm or saturated accent.
