About this fabric

The large-scale design shows twisting brown branches populated by teal-blue and green birds, red blooms, pale chrysanthemum-like flowers and delicate pink blossom. Its warm beige background keeps the dense chinoiserie composition grounded, while the saturated teal and red details create lively points of contrast. Woven in 100% linen, the fabric is 122 cm wide and has a 104 cm vertical pattern repeat with a 122 cm horizontal repeat. It is suitable for curtains, loose upholstery, fixed upholstery and bedspreads, with a 20,000 Martindale rub test; care instructions specify professional dry cleaning only, with no washing, bleaching or ironing.

How to use it

Use the warm beige ground to soften a room with dark timber, then echo the teal birds or red flowers in cushions and small accessories. The generous repeat is well suited to a statement chair, upholstered headboard, curtains or a carefully centred bedspread.
