Barcelona Magenta is a densely patterned velvet built from richly coloured patchwork panels. Saturated magenta and raspberry tones lead the design, with emerald, olive, coral, cream and charcoal details adding depth across the surface.

About this fabric

This 55% viscose and 45% cotton velvet combines floral, leafy and ornamental motifs in a bold 132 cm vertical by 68 cm horizontal repeat. The magenta ground reads warm and saturated, while the contrasting green, red, pink, gold and near-black details create a layered, jewel-like effect. Its 136 cm width and 50,000 Martindale rub test make it suitable for curtains, loose upholstery, fixed upholstery and bedspreads. Barcelona Magenta must be professionally dry cleaned; it should not be washed, bleached or ironed.

How to use it

Use Barcelona Magenta on a statement chair, sofa or upholstered headboard where its saturated pink-red depth can anchor a room. Balance the busy patchwork with warm neutrals, dark timber and small accents in olive or emerald drawn from the pattern.

Use this richly coloured velvet to bring jewel-toned pattern and opulent texture to upholstery, curtains or bedspreads.
