Meadow Fruit Velvet in Cinder/Multi layers small fruits, leaves and flowers across a deep charcoal ground. Muted olive, ochre, russet, coral and parchment tones give the densely repeated design a softly aged, painterly character.

About this fabric

The dark cinder background brings depth to the closely packed botanical pattern, while the restrained red, mustard, olive and warm beige details prevent it from feeling overly bright. As a 100% cotton velvet, it has the plush, light-catching surface associated with this fabric type and is substantial enough for upholstery. The 137 cm width and 23 cm vertical pattern repeat suit considered cutting for cushions, headboards and upholstered furniture. With a 50,000 Martindale rub test, it is specified for fixed and loose upholstery as well as curtains and bedspreads.

How to use it

Use this Cinder/Multi colourway to add layered colour to a reading chair, window seat or upholstered headboard, pairing its charcoal depth with warm timber, aged brass and plain olive or ochre textiles. The small-scale repeat also works well across cushions and bedspreads where its russet and muted fruit tones can be picked out selectively.
