Essential Colour III - Colour FabricBF11213.1
Lansdowne Green/Red shows a closely woven, miniature zigzag in softened red and green over a warm beige-taupe ground. The restrained contrast gives the surface a quietly textured, tailored appearance.

About this fabric
The fine chevron weave is formed by slim red and green lines that sit closely together, creating a gently mottled surface rather than a bold graphic stripe. Its vertical pattern repeat is 2 cm (.79") and its horizontal repeat is 5 cm (1.96"), keeping the motif understated at full scale. The composition is 54% cotton, 22% viscose, 14% polyester and 10% linen, with a width of 134 cm (52.64") and a 27,000 Martindale rub test. It is specified for curtains, loose upholstery, fixed upholstery and bedspreads; care requires professional dry cleaning, with no washing, bleaching or ironing.
How to use it
Use this warm, muted green-and-red colourway on a reading chair, bench or upholstered headboard where its small zigzag can add depth without dominating. It also works as a tailored curtain or bedspread fabric alongside natural timber, warm neutrals and aged brass.
A finely scaled woven zigzag that brings softened red and green detail to upholstery, curtains and bedspreads.

Pairs well with
A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside Lansdowne Green/Red without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it
Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
