Meadow Fruit Charcoal/Green
Originals V FabricBP10619.3
Meadow Fruit Charcoal/Green is a densely drawn botanical fabric with small fruits, flowers and leaves layered across a deep charcoal ground. Muted sage and olive greens sit alongside ochre yellow and subdued orange, giving the colourway a softly aged, illustrated character.

About this fabric
The compact repeat is packed with leafy stems, clustered berries, pineapples and stylised flowers, so the charcoal background remains visible as a finely textured framework between the motifs. Its green foliage is subdued rather than bright, while the ochre and burnt-orange fruit details add warmth without overpowering the darker ground. Woven in 85% viscose and 15% linen, the 137 cm wide fabric has a 45,000 Martindale rub test and is suitable for curtains, loose upholstery, fixed upholstery and bedspreads. The close pattern and nuanced charcoal-green palette give larger upholstered surfaces considerable visual depth.
How to use it
Use this charcoal-based colourway on a reading chair, banquette or headboard where its olive foliage and ochre fruit can be balanced with warm timber, aged brass and plain textured linens. It also works as full curtains or a bedspread when the surrounding scheme is kept calm and tonal.
A richly detailed botanical print that brings muted green, charcoal and ochre depth to upholstery, curtains and bedspreads.

Paint that goes with it
Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
