Pumpkins Velvet Green/Terracotta combines a deep moss-green ground with ochre pumpkin forms, terracotta berries and densely layered foliage. The close botanical repeat has a rich, softly traditional character, with warm fruit tones standing out against the cooler green background.

About this fabric

This GP & J Baker velvet is made from 100% cotton and measures 137 cm wide. Its repeat measures 34 cm vertically by 36 cm horizontally, setting the rounded pumpkins, small terracotta berry clusters and overlapping green leaves into a regular botanical rhythm. Specified for curtains, loose upholstery, fixed upholstery and bedspreads, it has a 50,000 Martindale rub test. Care instructions are professional dry cleaning only; do not wash, bleach or iron.

How to use it

Use the moss-green ground as the deeper room colour, then pick up the ochre pumpkins and terracotta berries in piping, cushions or painted woodwork. On a chair or sofa, the dense pattern creates a warm garden-inspired focal point; as curtains or a bedspread, it gives the room a more enveloping, layered feel.
