Lexham Indigo
Essential Colour III - Colour FabricBF11217.1
Lexham Indigo combines a warm beige ground with tightly spaced indigo-blue vertical marks. In the close-up, the pattern reads as a delicate broken stripe, with the cool blue detail lending definition without overpowering the neutral base.

About this fabric
The closely woven surface alternates slender beige and indigo lines, creating a small-scale, subtly rhythmic texture rather than a bold stripe. Its warm sandy ground is softened by the cooler indigo accents, giving the colourway a balanced, quietly tailored appearance. Composed of 8% cotton, 48% viscose, 24% linen and 20% polyester, the 135 cm (53.04") width is specified for curtains, loose upholstery, fixed upholstery and bedspreads. A 27,000 Martindale rub test makes it suitable for considered upholstery applications, while the 2 cm vertical and 6 cm horizontal repeats remain discreet.
How to use it
Pair Lexham Indigo with chalky whites, natural oak and warm beige upholstery to draw out its sandy ground, or use it against deeper navy accents for a more defined blue-and-neutral scheme. Its fine vertical rhythm is well suited to tailored curtains, occasional chairs, headboards and coordinated bedspreads.
A finely textured indigo-and-beige stripe that brings subtle graphic definition to upholstery, curtains and bedspreads.

A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside Lexham Indigo without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it
Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
