California Velvet Charcoal pairs a deep charcoal ground with large, richly coloured botanical forms. Ochre, rust, mustard, muted blue and olive accents give the velvet a moody, painterly character.

About this fabric

The dark charcoal background makes the oversized flowers, leaves and curling stems stand out in ochre, burnt orange, mustard, muted blue, olive and berry tones. Fine linear details and the softly varied surface add visual depth across the dense botanical arrangement. This fabric is 137 cm (53.82") wide and has a 72 cm vertical repeat with a 68.5 cm horizontal repeat. Its composition is 60% viscose, 30% cotton and 10% polyester, with a 21,000 Wyzenbeek Wire Mesh rub test. It is specified for curtains, loose upholstery, fixed upholstery and bedspreads, with professional dry cleaning required.

How to use it

Use this charcoal colourway on a statement armchair or sofa where its ochre and rust flowers can warm a darker room. It also works as full-length curtains or a bedspread, carrying the botanical pattern through a scheme without losing its grounded, smoky depth.
