California Velvet Denim/Mole presents a sprawling botanical arrangement in softened denim blue, olive, taupe and mole shades. The velvety surface gives the floral forms a subdued depth, with darker motifs standing out against the muted ground.

About this fabric

The design combines large flowers, curling stems, seed heads and layered leaves in a low-contrast palette of cool denim, earthy olive and deep mole. Its softly textured velvet face catches the light unevenly, bringing gentle variation to the illustrated botanical shapes rather than a sharp, flat finish. The vertical pattern repeat is 72 cm and the horizontal repeat is 68.5 cm, creating a generous, prominent layout. At 137 cm wide and tested to 50,000 Martindale rubs, it is specified for curtains, loose upholstery, fixed upholstery and bedspreads.

How to use it

Use this denim-and-mole colourway on a statement chair, sofa or headboard where its large botanical scale can be seen clearly. Pair the cool blue notes with aged wood, olive textiles and warm neutral walls to balance the pattern’s earthy depth.
