Nympheus Velvet Spice brings a deep burnt-orange ground to an abundant botanical scene of lily pads, water flowers and perched birds. Olive, charcoal, brown and pale cream details give the warm colourway a richly layered appearance.

About this fabric

This velvet is composed of 60% viscose, 30% cotton and 10% polyester, with a 137 cm (53.82") width. The Spice ground reads as saturated terracotta-orange, while the broad olive leaves, smoky brown foliage and cream flowers create strong tonal depth across the large-scale design. Birds and water-lily forms are picked out in dark outlines, giving the surface an illustrated, ornamental character. With a 90 cm (35.36") vertical repeat and 68.5 cm (26.91") horizontal repeat, it is suitable for curtains, loose upholstery, fixed upholstery and bedspreads, and has a 50,000 Martindale rub test.

How to use it

Use this warm terracotta colourway to bring an enveloping, collected feel to a reading chair, headboard or full-length curtains. Pair it with olive textiles and dark wood to draw out the leafy tones, or use pale cream accents to lift the botanical detail.
