Rockbird Velvet Teal has a deep, cool teal ground filled with curling botanical branches, cream blooms, coral-red flowers and small birds. The densely composed design has an archival, painterly character, with olive, mustard and muted blue-green details adding depth.

About this fabric

This velvet is made from 90% cotton and 10% polyester, with a 120 cm width and a 103 cm vertical pattern repeat. Its 120 cm horizontal repeat carries an intricate arrangement of flowering stems, birds and foliage across the teal ground. Cream and pale blush flowers brighten the design, while rust, ochre and olive accents give the colourway a layered, collected feel rather than a flat blue-green appearance. Rated at 20,000 Martindale, it is specified for curtains, loose upholstery, fixed upholstery and bedspreads; professional dry cleaning is required, with no washing, bleaching or ironing.

How to use it

Use this deep teal colourway on a statement armchair or sofa, pairing it with warm cream upholstery and aged brass or wood. It also brings strong colour and pattern to full-length curtains or a coordinating bedspread, while the coral and ochre flowers offer ready-made accent shades.
