Oriental Garden Jewel brings together a deep moss-green ground, warm rust foliage and antique-gold florals in a richly detailed velvet. Creamy peonies and small blue birds add definition across the dark, atmospheric colourway.

About this fabric

Made from 55% viscose and 45% cotton, this velvet has a 140 cm (55") width and a visibly dense, softly lustrous surface. Large cream and ochre peonies emerge from dark green leaves, while rust, brown and muted blue accents give the design its layered, jewel-toned depth. The pattern has a 51 cm (20.04") vertical repeat and a 70 cm (27.5") horizontal repeat, allowing the birds and flower heads to read clearly across upholstery or hanging fabric. A 50,000 Martindale rub test supports its specified use for curtains, loose upholstery, fixed upholstery and bedspreads.

How to use it

Use this warm, shaded colourway on a reading chair, ottoman or statement sofa against natural timber and quiet, earthy walls. As curtains or a bedspread, its moss, rust and antique-gold palette creates a richly traditional focal point without relying on a bright background.
