About this wallpaper

This Old Blue colourway reads as a cool, muted blue-grey rather than a bright or saturated blue, with delicate tonal shifts across the surface. Fine horizontal lines create a restrained texture, while the low-contrast finish keeps the overall effect calm and understated. Made from 100% Vinyl - Paper, it has an approximate vertical repeat of 61cm and a horizontal repeat of 52cm. The gentle depth of the blue-grey tone allows the linear texture to remain visible without becoming visually dominant.

How to use it

Use Old Blue across a bedroom, study or quietly layered sitting room where its cool blue-grey tone can sit alongside chalky whites, soft greys and weathered timber.

Use this cool, muted blue-grey wallcovering to bring gentle tonal depth to a calm, understated scheme.

Pairs well with

Appledore Wallpaper Old Blue is a quiet cloth, so it carries a pattern beside it: one of these on the curtains and this on the chair. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
