About this fabric

This Colefax and Fowler fabric has a medium-scale plaid repeat of approximately V 25cm / H 24cm, giving the check a clear but not overpowering presence. The weave shows a subtly textured, wool-rich handle, with the blend of 38% viscose, 28% cotton, 20% linen, 12% wool and 2% polyester suggesting a cloth with both structure and a softer surface finish. In this colourway, the blue-grey navy base is lifted by rust, terracotta and faded teal accents, creating a calm but earthy palette. At approximately 143cm wide, it is a versatile fabric for upholstered pieces that need visual interest without a heavy pattern effect. The fire code √CH and care code Q 8 < T 3 are supplied for this exact cloth.

How to use it

Use it on an armchair, window seat or tailored blind where the restrained navy ground can settle into the room. It works especially well with warm woods, muted greens and chalky neutrals to echo the fabric’s rustic depth.
