About this fabric

This Magnus Checks fabric has a medium-scale check with a light, open cloth that reads as versatile rather than heavy. The composition is 45% viscose, 35% cotton, 16% linen and 4% polyester, and the cloth is approximately 141cm wide with a vertical repeat of 29cm and horizontal repeat of 28cm. In this colourway, the aqua ground stays cool and pale, while the tomato stripes sit brighter and more saturated, creating a clean contrast without looking overly dark. The visible weave has a linen-rich, softly textured surface that keeps the check from feeling flat. Care code Q 8 < T 3 and fire code √CH are supplied for this fabric.

How to use it

Use it where the aqua can soften stronger tones, such as a bedroom blind, a loose chair cover or a tailored cushion set. The tomato-red check is lively enough to add character to pale timber, painted joinery or white walls.
