About this fabric

Part of the Magnus Checks collection by Colefax and Fowler, this fabric is composed of 40% viscose, 39% linen and 21% polyester and measures approximately 141cm wide. The repeat is generous at about V 36cm and H 35cm, which supports the broad, roomy check seen in the image. Its colourway reads as a sun-warmed red with coral and terracotta notes, softened by pale cream lines that stop it feeling too strong. The surface has the dry, tactile character you would expect from a linen blend, with enough body to work for both upholstery and drapery. Care code Q 8 + T 3 and fire code √BM are supplied for this exact fabric.

How to use it

Use this plaid to add a cheerful, country-house accent on an armchair, headboard or blind, where the warm red and peach tones can sit against chalky paintwork. It also layers nicely with wicker, oak and natural linens, letting the check bring colour without looking overly formal.
