Cantinella Red
Marius FabricF4221-07
Cantinella Red shows the Marius damask in a warm terracotta red with a softly weathered finish. The pattern reads clearly across the surface, with lighter raised detail giving the cloth an aged, textural depth.

About this fabric
This colourway has a muted red-brown cast rather than a bright crimson, so the motif feels grounded and slightly sun-baked. The damask design is visible in an even repeat across the width, with the pattern sitting in a gentle contrast against the warmer background. Made from 30% Linen, 30% Polyamide, 20% Cotton and 20% Polyester, it has the look of a textured woven fabric with enough body to suit both soft furnishing and drapery use. The repeat is V 37cm / H 35cm approx and the width is 141cm approx, which makes it practical for larger upholstered pieces as well as tailored curtains. Fire code K is noted for this fabric.
How to use it
Use it where you want a red tone that feels heritage-led rather than vivid, especially on upholstered chairs, cushions or classic curtains. It works well with aged wood, warm neutrals and worn brass, where its terracotta depth can take centre stage.
A warm terracotta damask that adds depth without feeling heavy.

Pairs well with
A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside Cantinella Red without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it
Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
