Cantinella Tapestry Blue

Marius FabricF4221-06

Cantinella Tapestry Blue has a softly aged blue-grey ground, lifted by a pale damask pattern that reads quietly decorative rather than bold. The woven surface gives the design a slight slub and a textile depth that suits the historic motif.

About this fabric

This colourway shows a muted tapestry blue with grey and stone undertones, so the pattern sits in the fabric rather than shouting from it. The damask repeat is large and regular, with scrolling forms picked out in a lighter, chalkier contrast that catches the light. Made from 30% Linen, 30% Polyamide, 20% Cotton and 20% Polyester, it has the handle and visual texture of a woven upholstery cloth, while the 141cm approx width makes it practical for interior schemes. The V 37cm / H 35cm approx repeat should be planned carefully when centring the motif, especially on longer runs or matched pieces. Fire code K is also noted.

How to use it

Use this blue-grey damask on a statement chair, banquette or tailored curtains where you want the pattern to feel elegant but restrained. It pairs especially well with pale oak, pewter hardware and soft white walls.

A cool, aged blue that works well with pale timber, chalky neutrals and polished metals.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
