Pershore Old Blue

Tilbury FabricF4918-02

Pershore Old Blue shows a cool, softly washed ground with a delicate leaf-lattice pattern tracing across the surface. The design reads light and airy, with the motif sitting gently rather than sharply against the background.

About this fabric

This colourway has a pale blue-grey base that keeps the overall look calm and airy, while the leaf trellis motif appears in a muted sage-grey tone that gives the pattern quiet definition. The woven surface has the subtle slub and sheen you would expect from its 49% Linen, 29% Viscose and 22% Polyester composition, so the fabric feels more refined than rustic. With a repeat of approximately V 20cm / H 16cm and a width of about 126cm, it is well suited to patterned curtains or upholstered pieces where the lattice can be shown to good effect. The restrained contrast makes this a particularly versatile smart-to-relaxed fabric rather than a bold statement print.

How to use it

Use it in a room with white-painted joinery, brushed timber and pale stone to keep the blue-grey ground feeling fresh. It also works well with ferny greens and soft metallic accents, which pick up the cool undertone in the motif.

Pair this cool blue-grey with pale oak, chalk whites and soft sage for a calm, tailored scheme.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
