Paisley Leaf Old Blue

Theodore FabricF4691-03

Paisley Leaf Old Blue presents Theodore’s leafy paisley pattern in a gentle, timeworn palette of blue, sage and oat on a pale ground. The overall effect is airy and decorative, with the motif feeling crisp rather than heavy.

About this fabric

Woven in 100% linen, this fabric has the relaxed surface and natural handle you would expect from a linen cloth, while the 140cm width makes it practical for larger furnishing runs. The design repeats at V 88cm half drop and H 93cm approx, giving the foliage pattern a generous, expansive rhythm across the cloth. In this colourway, the old blue tones read cool and softly muted, balanced by dusty greens, stone-beige stems and fine taupe detailing. The result is a classic floral-paisley look with enough restraint to feel tailored rather than busy.

How to use it

Use it on curtains, upholstered occasional chairs or a refined feature sofa where the soft blue ground can sit against cream, sage or weathered oak. It works especially well in rooms that want pattern without brightness, thanks to its washed, settled colour.

A fresh, quietly aged blue that sits beautifully against pale woods and painted finishes.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
