About this fabric

This Colefax and Fowler fabric from the Theodore collection is a 133cm-wide textile with a vertical repeat of approximately 19cm and a horizontal repeat of approximately 44cm. The composition of 49% viscose, 26% linen, 17% cotton and 8% polyester gives it a dry-luxe look that suits both upholstery and drapery use. In this Old Blue colourway, the stripe reads muted rather than bright, with a chalky blue-grey ground, soft ivory bands and tiny touches of faded gold that lift the pattern without making it busy. The woven texture visible in the swatch adds depth to the pale palette, so the design feels tailored and gently aged rather than crisp or glossy. Care code Q 8 + T 3 and fire code √BM are supplied for this fabric.

How to use it

Use it for a relaxed but polished armchair, occasional curtains or Roman blinds where the soft blue-grey stripe can balance painted woodwork and linen upholstery. It works especially well with pale oak, muted whites and other cool neutrals.
