About this fabric

This velvet is composed of 60% viscose, 30% cotton and 10% polyester, with an approximate width of 136cm and a large repeat of V 75cm / H 68cm. The visible pile catches the light in a way that softens the navy ground, giving it a worn-in depth rather than a flat inkiness. Against that dark blue base, the stylised floral motifs appear in layered cream, terracotta-red, muted green and warm ochre, creating a tapestry-like effect. The scale of the repeat makes the pattern feel decorative and spacious, and the BM fire code makes it suitable for specified interiors where relevant.

How to use it

Use this navy colourway on an accent chair, ottoman or banquette where the jewel tones can stand out against timber, brass or painted joinery. It also works well in a room with warm neutrals, letting the cream and red details lift the darker ground.
