Amble Stripe Old Blue

Tilbury FabricF4912-01

Amble Stripe Old Blue presents as a pale, airy stripe with a restrained vintage-blue ground and delicate embroidered detailing. The design feels refined and gently decorative rather than bold.

About this fabric

Woven in a 47% Linen, 40% Viscose, 13% Polyester composition, this fabric has a softly lustrous, tailored look that suits both furnishing and curtain use. The stripe repeats vertically at approximately 30cm with a horizontal repeat of about 46cm, giving the pattern a measured, architectural rhythm. In this Old Blue colourway, the ground reads as a washed, powdery blue-grey rather than a bright blue, while the motif and surrounding fields stay light and understated. The result is a calm, crisp fabric with enough structure for upholstery and enough softness for drapery.

How to use it

Use it on a small armchair, bedroom curtains, or a tailored Roman blind where the pale blue can keep the room feeling open. It pairs especially well with chalk white, driftwood, and muted taupe for a fresh coastal-heritage palette.

A pale, elegant stripe that reads quietly fresh against warm woods and painted finishes.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
