Tilbury FabricF4906-02

Chesham Red/Green pairs narrow leafy stripes with softer ground stripes for a tailored, decorative look. The palette reads as muted red and fresh olive-green, with a calm cream background that keeps the design light.

About this fabric

This Tilbury fabric is woven in 70% Cotton and 30% Linen, giving the cloth a natural, matte handle that suits its relaxed but orderly stripe. The repeat is V 19cm / H 34cm approx, and the vertical bands in this colourway alternate between slender green lines and vine-like red motifs. The red appears softened rather than bright, more dusty rose and terracotta than clear crimson, while the green sits in a restrained olive tone. With a width of 138cm approx and fire code √BM, it is a practical decorative fabric with an elegant, composed finish.

How to use it

Use this colourway where you want pattern without heaviness: it would work well on tailored blinds, bedroom curtains, or a statement occasional chair. The cream ground and softened red-green palette sit neatly with painted woodwork, pale timbers, and understated country-house furnishings.

A refined stripe that balances the blush-red motif with fresh green accents.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
