About this fabric

This colourway has a full, rusted tomato tone with tiny flecks of lighter fibre that soften the overall effect and give the cloth depth. Woven in 90% linen and 10% polyamide, it has the dry, slightly irregular look of linen but with a neater finish across the surface. The fabric is approximately 142cm wide and has a vertical and horizontal repeat of 0cm, confirming its plain, non-patterned appearance. Its medium-weight look and grounded colour make it suitable for both upholstery and drapery where a warm, textural red is wanted.

How to use it

Use it on a tailored armchair, sofa cushions or relaxed curtains where the tomato shade can sit against oak, stone and aged brass. It works especially well with chalky neutrals and darker greens, where the warmth of the red feels richer and more settled.

A warm tomato linen that adds colour without feeling brash.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
