Tyndall Terracotta

Tyndall Linen FabricF4686-22

Tyndall Terracotta is a quietly earthy plain weave with a warm, sunbaked terracotta tone. The surface reads dry and natural, with a fine linen texture that softens the colour rather than making it overly bright.

About this fabric

Part of Colefax and Fowler’s Tyndall Linen collection, this fabric is composed of 90% Linen and 10% Polyamide and has a width of approximately 142cm. The image shows a closely woven plain cloth with a lightly slubbed, textural face that gives the terracotta colour a soft, matte depth. The shade sits between clay and spice, with a muted warmth that feels more grounded than orange and less red than rust. With no repeat at approximately V 0cm / H 0cm, it works well where a calm, uninterrupted surface is wanted, while the Q 8 + T 3 care code and √BM fire code add practical reassurance.

How to use it

This colourway suits tan leather, oak, aged brass and natural plaster, where its warm clay note can anchor a room without dominating it. Use it for upholstery, cushions or simple curtains to bring a mellow, sunlit feel to neutral schemes.

Use for relaxed upholstery or softly tailored curtains in earthy interiors.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
