Ashmead Wallpaper Tomato

Ashmead Wallpaper Tomato shows a softly warm, tomato-red botanical pattern across a pale cream ground. Fine leafy sprigs, rounded seed-pod forms and delicate connecting stems create a calm, evenly spaced rhythm.

About this fabric

The design combines outlined leaves with small rounded forms, picked out in muted tomato red and softer grey-green and beige tones. Its restrained contrast keeps the pattern decorative without making the cream ground feel busy, while the fine printed lines give the surface a light, illustrative character. This wallcovering is made from 100% paper and has an approximate vertical repeat of 15cm and horizontal repeat of 6cm. The relatively compact repeat allows the botanical arrangement to read consistently across the wall.

How to use it

Use this warm tomato colourway to add a gentle note of red to a bedroom, corridor or dressing room, pairing it with cream-painted woodwork and natural timber. The pale ground also makes it suitable for rooms where you want pattern without losing a light, airy feel.

Use the warm tomato-red botanical repeat to bring gentle pattern and colour to bedrooms, hallways or smaller rooms.

Pairs well with

A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside Ashmead Wallpaper Tomato without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
