Harrison Tomato
Ruskin II FabricF3922-09
Harrison Tomato is a warm, earthy stripe with a gently worn surface and fine vertical striation. The tomato-terracotta ground is lifted by narrow, lighter bands that give the cloth a tailored, understated rhythm.

About this fabric
Harrison Tomato from the Ruskin II collection by Colefax and Fowler is composed of 42% cotton, 41% linen and 17% viscose, with a width of approximately 141cm. The cloth reads as a warm tomato terracotta, softened rather than brightened, with a matte, slightly nubby texture that suggests a natural blend. Fine vertical striping runs through the design at a small scale, creating subtle movement without overpowering the surface. With no performance features noted, it presents as a decorative furnishing fabric rather than a technical textile, and the cotton-linen balance gives it an easy, breathable look.
How to use it
Use this colourway where you want warmth without harshness: it pairs neatly with oak, aged brass and cream upholstery. The muted tomato tone also brings a confident note to relaxed curtains or a smart upholstered chair.
A warm, earthy stripe that works well on tailored upholstery or elegant curtains.

A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside Harrison Tomato without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it
Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
