Ruskin Tomato
Ruskin II FabricF3923-14
Ruskin Tomato is a warm, russet tomato shade with a softly worn, tonal finish that lets the small-scale pattern sit quietly across the surface. The overall effect is earthy and refined rather than bright or glossy.

About this fabric
This fabric is made from 53% viscose, 25% linen and 22% cotton, giving it a natural-looking handle with a gentle, slightly dry texture visible in the weave. The design shows a fine all-over floral pattern in deep red-brown and terracotta tones, with the motifs blending into the ground so the repeat reads more as texture than contrast. At approximately 142cm wide, with a vertical repeat of 64cm and horizontal repeat of 36cm, it is a substantial decorative cloth suited to coordinated scheme work. The tomato colourway has a muted, earthen warmth that feels richer in the shadows and a touch lighter where the pile catches the light. Q 8 : T 3 care and √CM fire compliance are supplied for this exact fabric.
How to use it
This colourway works well with oak, dark walnut and warm stone, where its burnt tomato tone brings depth without shouting. It would also sit beautifully in a layered scheme with tobacco leather, linen neutrals and antique brass.
Use with warm neutrals and aged wood for a rich, layered scheme.

Pairs well with
A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside Ruskin Tomato without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it
Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
