Ruskin Stone

Ruskin II FabricF3923-09

Ruskin Stone has a softly mottled, stone-toned surface with a woven, gently distressed look that reads calm and understated. The pale taupe colouring keeps the pattern soft rather than high contrast.

About this fabric

This fabric is supplied with a repeat of V 64cm / H 36cm approx and a width of 142cm approx, giving the design a balanced decorative scale. The composition of 53% viscose, 25% linen and 22% cotton helps create the relaxed, lightly textured handle visible in the swatch. Ruskin Stone shows a warm stone taupe base with subtle darker shading worked through the pattern, so the motif feels layered rather than flat. Its muted finish and refined texture make it suitable for schemes that need detail without a bold colour statement.

How to use it

Use Ruskin Stone on an upholstered armchair, occasional sofa or tailored curtains where the warm taupe will sit comfortably alongside natural wood and plaster tones. It is especially effective in rooms that want texture and depth without leaving the neutral palette.

A quiet stone taupe that layers neatly with pale oak, linen and deeper neutrals.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
