Byron Terracotta

Byron Fabric

Byron Terracotta pairs a pale, chalky ground with warm terracotta strokes that read as an abstract, brushed pattern across the surface.

About this fabric

This Byron colourway combines 55% polyester and 45% cotton, giving the fabric a practical textile handle with a soft, approachable look. The design shows loose terracotta marks over a light grey-white background, so the overall effect is warm but still airy rather than heavy. At 140cm wide with a 36cm pattern repeat, it is well suited to larger upholstered pieces or made-up window treatments where the vertical rhythm can be shown off. The surface appearance feels textural and sketch-like, with the terracotta sitting slightly stronger in some areas and fading gently in others. No performance features are noted, and the care code AVQ1< should be followed.

How to use it

Use it to add warmth to a neutral room, where the terracotta will lift pale woods, stone tones and soft greys. It is especially effective on statement chairs, loose covers or curtains that benefit from its relaxed, painterly movement.

A warm, textured statement that works well on a tailored sofa or relaxed drape.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
