Dahl Blue

Byron Fabric

Dahl Blue gives the Byron design a cool, grounded look, with rounded rectangular motifs in denim blue, stone and soft grey set against a pale background. The textured weave keeps the pattern crisp while still feeling relaxed and usable.

About this fabric

Byron in Dahl Blue is a 55% polyester, 45% cotton fabric with a 140cm width and a 102cm vertical repeat, making it a practical patterned cloth for tailored interiors. The design reads as a grid of elongated rounded rectangles, with blue rings alternating with oat, pebble and charcoal tones across the surface. In this colourway the blue feels muted and slightly dusty rather than bright, so the pattern has a calm, modern presence. The woven texture softens the geometry and gives the fabric a subtle upholstered depth without making it look heavy. Care instructions are AVQ1<.

How to use it

Use Dahl Blue on a statement chair, ottoman or bench where the repeated geometry can be seen clearly. It works especially well with whitewashed oak, soft grey paint and plain linens that echo the fabric’s cool, restrained blue.

Pair with chalky neutrals and pale timber for a clean, tailored scheme.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
