Byron Dove

Byron Fabric

Byron Dove is a softly weathered grey stripe with a cool, chalky finish and a textured, broken-edge look. The layered pattern reads light and airy at a distance, with darker vertical bands giving it clear structure.

About this fabric

Woven in 55% polyester and 45% cotton, this fabric has a practical mid-weight feel that suits both upholstery and drapery uses. The 140cm width gives good coverage, while the 36cm pattern repeat creates a bold vertical rhythm across the cloth. In Dove, the design is worked in pale misty greys and deeper charcoal accents, so the surface feels quiet rather than stark. The irregular, flecked stripe softens the contrast and gives the fabric a slightly brushed, contemporary texture. Care instructions are AVQ1<.

How to use it

Use Byron Dove where you want a cool neutral with more movement than a plain grey: it would sharpen a tailored armchair, banquette, or full-length curtains beautifully. Its soft dove tone sits especially well with white, graphite, pale oak and stone finishes.

A cool grey stripe with enough body for upholstery and a refined, modern finish for window dressing.

Pairs well with

A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside Byron Dove without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
